Brian Dean “Rambo” Roberts, age 51, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away May 9, 2014 from injuries sustained in an accident on May 8.

He was born March 5, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana to Don and Bonnie (Nelson) Roberts of Roselawn, In. Surviving with his parents is fiancée, Jamie Revalee; son, Kevin Roberts (companion Brittney Morgan) of Indianapolis, In; brothers, Steven Roberts (companion Carolyn Mathews) of Brook, In, Don Roberts (wife Kelly); and a sister, Arlene Roberts of Monticello, In.

He attended North Newton High School. He was a 24 year member of The Operating Engineers Local 103 and a member of Hillside Wesleyan Church in Marion, In.

Brian enjoyed burning meat on the grill, camping on the Tippecanoe River, boating and making everyone around him laugh. He really enjoyed his job of operating heavy machinery.

A memorial gathering will be held at his home in Monticello, 3711 E. Polk Loop Drive from 1-5 on May 24.
